Document Description
The DWR proposes to construct microwave communications towers at three sites within its San Joaquin Field Division. These microwave towers will be installed the Lost Hills O&M Center, Check 24, and Polonio. Installation of these microwave towers will increase the coverage of the VHF radio network within the San Joaquin Field Division Area.

Categorical Exemption 15303 applies to this project. The proposed project involves construction of three microwave communication towers at three different DWR San Joaquin Division locations. Each completed tower will be less than 200 feet high, and will occupy a footprint of approximately 200 square feet. The square footage of the combined sites would be approximately 1825 square feet, which is less than the maximum allowed under this exemption.
