Document Description
The project is located on State Route 99 in Madera County between the State Route 152/99 Separation and the Merced County line. The California Department of Transporation (Caltrans) will rehabilitate pavement on State Route 99 in both directions between post mile 22.7 and post mile 29.4. Additional work will include replacing guardrail, departure and approach slabs at bridges, shoulder backing, striping, inside and outside shoulder rumble strip, detector loops Type A and non-standard dike with Type E dike; cold planning the existing Hot Mix Asphalt at on and off ramp locations within the project area; digging out and replacing areas where the existing substructure is failing; modifying the beams where necessary.
