Document Description
The Applicant will make improvements to the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in order to comply with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board requirements. The Applicant will maintain the capacity of the treatment facility to meet future demands, and offset expected Applicant's energy costs. Figure 4 of the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) shows the Project footprint. The Applicant will make the following improvements within the WWTP: • Treatment Facility Improvements - Includes improvements within the WWTP. • Effluent Disposal - The construction will include an outfall pipeline from the WWTP to the Spanish Creek outfall. • Solar Power Generation - The Applicant may construct the solar panels on the Applicant's owned pastures south of the WWTP. The panels would cover approximately 2.5 acres and likely generate up to 300Kw of power once operational. In addition to the solar PV panels, the Applicant will install inverters, and related electrical equipment (e.g., electrical line, circuit breakers).
