The project purpose is to consolidate/upgrade State office space in the region, specifically to vacate the existing Resources Building at 1416 9th Street, which would upgrade State office space in the region, specifically to vacate the existing Resources Building at 1416 9th St, which would allow the eventual renovation/re-occupation of that building. However, there are no details available regarding the timing of future renovation/re-occupation of Resources. Development of the new office building may affect the historic Heilbron House; however, it is proposed to remain in place. The project may include ground-level commercial space, a child care facility on the Subterranean Building, and the office building would be connected to the State's Central Plan for heating/cooling.
