The purpose of the project is to restore up to 1,265 linear feet of the eastern slope of Trabuco Creek between the railroad line and Oso Road, as outlined in Restitution Order (Superior Court Case #01CF2513, May 2007) and as presented in the plan of compliance with the Order, which the CDFW approved on June 10, 2009. The restoration area comprises three locations: the north point bar, the south point, and the manufactured slope on the eastern slope of Trabuco Creek. Total cut associated with the project is 66,322 cubic yards and total fill is 8,961 cubic yards. Additionally, 57,361 cubic yards of material will be exported from the project area.
