Document Description
The project involves the development of a parcel delivery facility on an approximately 74.4-acre property. The facility includes an approximately 476,285 square-foot sorting/distribution building and four ancillary buildings, including an approximately 8,973 square-foot gateway building, an approximately 17,480 square-foot maintenance building, and two approximately 220 square-foot guardhouses. The project includes site improvements (on-site parking and loading areas, a fueling island, landscaping, walls and fences), connections to existing infrastructure and utility systems, construction of an off-site storm drain pipe segment, and frontage improvements to Merrill Avenue and Flight Avenue. The project amends the City of Chino General Plan Map to change the subject property's land use designation from "Public" to "Light Industrial." The project also amends The Preserve Specific Plan to change the subject property's designation from "Public" to "Light Industrial."
