Document Description
The Project proposes construction of an on-site booster pump station andpipeline located on Los Angeles Residential Community (LARC) Ranch property that connect to the existing 0.36million-gallon(MG)storage tank from the new service meter. The on-site pump station would include two tenhorsepower (hp) pumps within a block wall building, which would have a footprint of less than 200 square feet. The pump station would be approximately ten feet high and located adjacent to similar type of walled enclosures. A new four-inchpolyvinyl chloride pipeline would extend approximately 700 feet from a SantaClarita Water Districtservice meter to the pump station. Discharge pipeline from the pump would extend approximately 30 feet to connect to an existing eight-inchLARC Ranch pipeline. The width of the alignment would range from 30 inches for the water pipeline trench to 20 feet for the temporary closure of the Bouquet Canyon Road southbound. Adischarge pipeline from the pump would extend approximately 30 feet to connect to an existing eight-inchLARC Ranch pipeline that extends to the 0.36 MG tank.The Project will also include approximately 9,620 linear feet of 12-inch diameter pipeline in Bouquet Canyon and two four-inch metered connections for Lily of the Valley (LOV). LOV's two metered connections will require about 90 feet of six-inch diameter pipeline required to make the stub out from the new mainline in the street to the street right of way. Additional on-site piping connections will be required on LOV's private property to make the final tie in between LOV’s distribution system and the new meters.
