Document Description
The proposed project would replace the existing La Caden Drive bridge with a new 98-foot wide bridge that would accommodate four 12 ft lanes (two lanes in each direction), a 14-ft wide striped median, a 5 ft class II bike lane within the 9ft, 6-in shoulder, and a 6 ft sidewalk protected by a 1 ft, 6-in wide concrete barrier in each direction. The proposed project would also replace the existing access to the Santa Ana River Trail parking lot with a new realigned driveway in order to accommodate the new bridge. A culvert would be constructed between the SART and the southbound side of La Cadena Drive would be replaced with a new and realigned bike trail connection.
