CDFW has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0076-R6 (Revision 1), pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Hillcrest Homes, Inc. The project includes the rehabilitation or reestablishing of 563 acres of floodplain, including vernal pool and alkali playa habitat, along an 11,500 linear-foot section of the San Jacinto River through the removal of berms on either side of the existing low-flow channel and filling portions of the ow-flow channel to allow for more consistent overbank flows.
