Steinback Vineyard Minor Use Permit DRC2015-00123

A request by Cindy Steinback for a minor use permit to allow the phased expansion of a previously authorized winery and tasting room. Phase I includes construction of a new 6,800 sf processing and barrel storage facility; phase II consists of the construction of a new 3,000 sf case goods storage building. Also requested is a modification to the 200-ft distance standard between the proposed winery facility and existing tasting room. No special events are proposed. The project will result in the disturbance of approximately 28,712 sf on a 156.76 acre site. The proposed project is within the agriculture land use category and is located at 5940 Union Rd. Paso Robles, CA 93446, approximately 1 mile east of the city of Paso Robles. The site in the El Pomar-Estrella sub area of the North County planning area.
