Caltrans proposes to improve safety for vehicles turning left onto SR 12 from SR 113 and Birds Landing Road in Solano County at PM 19.2, approx. six miles west of the City of Rio Vista. Safety enhancements at this location will involve building a single lane roundabout in place of the City of Rio Vista. Safety enhancements at this location building a single lane roundabout in place of the existing un-signalized SR 12/SR113 intersection, installing light poles, and the utilization of advance warning signs when approaching the roundabout.
