Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board's Proposition 1 Groundwater Grant Program (GWGP) and Seawater Intrusion Control (SWIC) Loan Program are financing the Project. The Project includes two major components (1) injection and conveyance system and (2) treatment facilities. The injection and conveyance system include three injection wells; six monitoring wells; several pipelines totaling approximately 70,700 linear feet; and pump stations for conveyance. The treatment facilities will include a recycled water (tertiary treatment) facility to treat secondary-treated flows from the City of Santa Cruz Wastewater Treatment Facility and an advanced water purification facility to create purified water for injection.
