- The project is limited to six (6) encroachments. One (1) encroachment is for water diversion from a spring that feeds an unnamed tributary to Cave Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use and irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The spring is on an adjacent property; notification states the Permittee has an easement. One (1) encroachment is for replacement of a crushed 12-inch diameter culvert with a minimum 18-inch diameter culvert. The four (4) other proposed encroachments are for maintenance of existing culverts, including placement of rock as necessary to prevent erosion.
