Document Description
The project is limited to five (5) encroachments. One (1) encroachment is for water diversion from a well adjacent to an unnamed tributary to Cave Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use and irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure (well). Two (2) encroachments are for maintenance of existing stream crossing culverts. One (1) encroachment is for manual removal of road sediment from a stream channel. One (1) proposed encroachment is to replace existing double 12-inch diameter culverts with a new 30-inch diameter culvert. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, removal of the exiting culverts, replacement with a new properly-sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill , and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
