Document Description
The project is limited to 4 encroachments (Table 1).
The proposed scope of work comprises two separate stream crossing projects that need work and two existing low water crossings. The two 12-inch diameter culverts are undersized and non-functional or not installed correctly and will need to be replaced. The Notification describes STX-1 as non-functional due to sediment plugging and the outlet completely buried. STX-2 is not aligned with the stream grade. Both culverts will be replaced with a minimum of 18-inch diameter culverts sized to carry 100-year flows. Both projects are located on seasonal streams that are tributaries to Little Rock Creek. The existing low water crossings will be monitored and maintained to ensure the stream is not diverted down the road and sediment is not delivered to the stream.
