Document Description
The project is limited to one (1) encroachment. The encroachment is for stabilization of approximately 100 feet of eroding stream bank, using bioengineering techniques. Rock that was temporarily placed will be removed and staged. A series of rock and brush layer lifts, and a series of live willow siltation baffles will be constructed. In addition, a coir fabric-wrapped soil wedge pinned down with live willow stakes will be constructed and seeded, and trees will be planted at the top of bank. Trees and other plants will be irrigated until established. The notification also disclosed an existing, appropriately-sized stream crossing culvert, and the use of a well as the water source for the property.
