Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0615-R1 , pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Phil Crews.
The project is limited to one (1) encroachment. Encroachment 1 is for diversion of water to an existing micro-hydropower generator. Activities include operation and maintenance of existing infrastructure. Activities may also include work necessary to bring the existing diversion and associated infrastructure into compliance with the Agreement.
A shared road with several stream crossing culverts passes through the Project parcels. This road is maintained by the "Cherry Creek Ranches Road Association." Permittee provided a letter signed by the road association president stating that the road association takes responsibility for the road system.
In addition to the above, the Permittee disclosed a well as the domestic and irrigation water source for the property, and an existing pond. No work was proposed on the pond, and water is not diverted from the pond for consumptive use.
