Document Description
The project consists of three encroachments. The three proposed encroachments are to upgrade failing and undersized culverts. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of failing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. The Notification discloses three separate wells, only one of which is in use for irrigation and domestic water. The well in use (well #3) is 180 feet deep, draws water from 65 feet and has an estimated pump rate for 60 gpm. The notification discloses a small rainwater catchment pond that is for recreation use and currently not connected to any nearby stream. Applicant plans to rock armor and mulch/seed pond outlet to reduce erosion and prevent outflow connection to nearby streams.
