Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-MEN-07876-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Matthew Manning. The project is limited to four (4) encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from a well located approximately 60 feet from Scott Creek, at an elevation approximately 20-25 feet above the stream. The Notification states that the water diversion rate is approximately one (1) gallon per minute. Water is diverted for domestic use and irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. Two proposed encroachments are to upgrade existing culverts. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the existing culverts (where necessary), placement of new appropriately sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. One encroachment is to maintain an existing culvert by rock armoring the outlet.
