Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-MEN-24016-R1C, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Venus Wheeler. The project is limited to 1 encroachment to upgrade an existing culvert. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, removal of the existing culvert, replacement with new properly sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. Permittee disclosed two other stream crossings – one that requires no maintenance (STX-2), and one that will consist of road improvement work and will reduce erosion down the out-board edge of the road (STX-3). Please note that while STX-3 is not a project at this time, it will be subject to Notification if the culvert requires replacement at a future time. The permittee also disclosed a well as a water source for cannabis irrigation, located at 39.15724, -123.24010.
