Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-MEN-02598-R1C, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Joseph Gothelf. The project is limited to three (3) encroachments. One proposed encroachment is to replace an existing culvert. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, removal of the existing culvert, replacement with new properly sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion The second encroachment is to upgrade a spillway culvert on an existing on-stream pond. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, removal of the existing culvert, replacement with new properly sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. The third encroachment is to upgrade an unimproved low water crossing to a dipped rock armored crossing. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, contouring the crossing so water flows within the stream channel, backfilling with appropriate rock, compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
