Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-MEN-11442-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Keith Johnson.
The project is limited to ten encroachments. Six proposed encroachments are to maintain or upgrade failing and undersized culverts. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the existing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as
necessary to minimize erosion. One proposed encroachment is to install a rocked ford. Work for this encroachment will include excavation fill from the ford crossing, compaction of fill, and rock armoring to minimize erosion. Two proposed encroachments are to upgrade failing pond spillways. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, installation of new properly sized spillway culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and installation of rock armored energy dissipaters to minimize erosion. The final proposed encroachment is to rock armor a stream diversion ditch to minimize erosion.
