Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0774-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Andrew Oldfield. The project is limited to thirteen (13) encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from an unnamed spring, tributary to Feliz Creek. Water is diverted for irrigation purposes. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure, including modifications needed to bring the diversion into compliance with this Agreement. Eleven (11) proposed encroachments are to maintain, repair or replace existing stream crossings. Work for these encroachments will include, as appropriate: excavation, removal of existing culverts, placement of new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and/or placement of rock armor as necessary to minimize erosion. One encroachment will involve installation of a new culvert at a location with an unimproved stream crossing. Installation of the crossing will realign the stream into its natural channel; currently it is diverted approximately 66 feet down the inside road ditch and through a ditch relief culvert.
