Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0642-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to David Gattoni. The project is limited to nine encroachments. Six proposed encroachments are to upgrade failing and undersized stream crossings. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the failing crossings, replacement with new properly sized crossings, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. One crossing will be installed for fish passage of all life stages. Revised fish passage assessment and results with final designs shall be submitted to CDFW for review and acceptance prior to construction. Two encroachments are for maintenance of existing stream crossings. Work will include regular maintenance of the culvert inlet and outlet, and work on one will include removal of a downspout from the outlet and replacement with an armored rock apron. The final encroachment is an existing on-stream reservoir impounding water from unnamed tributaries to Robinson Creek. Water is stored for fire protection.
