Document Description
The project consists of two encroachments(s): One ecnroachment will decommission and fill a pond that was built without permits within the floodplain of Tenmile Creek. Work for this project will include take place in stages. The pond will be divided into 1/5th sections and 20% of the volume will be filled at a time. Each fill step will pccur on different days for a total of five days. Native fill material will be used to fill the pond and is supplied by the local countey yard. All work will occur when pond is dry. The one other proposed encroachment is to upgrade an undersized culvert. Work for this encroachment will include axcavation, removaling of th failing culvert, replacement with new properly sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
