Document Description
The project is limited to 7 encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from a spring using a gravity-fed diversion. Water is diverted for irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. Two proposed encroachments are to upgrade undersized culverts. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the failing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. Two encroachments are for maintenance on properly sized culverts. Work will include recontouring of the cut slope, installing rock headwall at inlets, and rock apron at outlets. One encroachment is for installation of a culvert at a crossing on a Class III stream that currently does not have a culvert. One proposed encroachment is to replace a damaged and rusted outlet culvert for a pond in which the outlet is hydrologically connected to an unnamed tributary to Feliz Creek. Work will include replacing the damaged culvert and installing a rock apron at the outlet.
