Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0175-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Ms. Jasmine Rose Gunderson. The project is limited to eight (8) encroachments (Table 1). One encroachment is for water diversion from an unnamed seep/spring tributary to Cruso Cabin Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use and irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The seven (7) other proposed encroachments are to upgrade existing stream crossing culverts and install a new culvert in the location of an existing dirt ford. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of existing culverts, placement of new appropriately sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
