Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-03606-R1 , pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Ruben Ruiz. The project is limited to two (2) encroachments. Encroachment 1 is for use and maintenance of an existing pond within a vineyard, which overflows to a stream. Work for this encroachment will include maintenance and monitoring of the pond and spillway, and activities related to invasive species management. Encroachment 2 is for installation of an underground pipe in the same location as an existing drainage swale, and construction of a rocked swale ("storm drain system"). The purpose of the pipe is to convey pond overflow to a the rocked swale, which will allow water to infiltrate and/or flow downstream. The pipe outlet and rocked swale will be monitored and maintained to protect downstream water quality.
