Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0334-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Leif Bierer.
The project is limited to one (1) encroachment. Encroachment 1 is for water diversion from a hydrologically connected well within the Eel River floodplain. Water will be diverted for irrigation and domestic use. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure.
The project includes proposed construction of an off-stream reservoir to store rainwater and diverted water. Design plans for the pond will be submitted for CDFW review prior to construction.
