- The project is limited to one encroachment (Table 1 ). Work for the stream crossing will include removal of failing and undersized 36" diameter concrete culvert and restoration of the stream crossing site to natural conditions. Work for this encroachment will include pulling back and removing all perched fill, excavation, removal of the failing culvert, recontouring restored streambank and placement of grade control and erosion control measures as necessary prevent downcutting and minimize erosion. According to the NOAA Potential Habitat Screening Tool Intrinsic Potential Model, this is a class I stream and should be considered so unless a qualified fisheries biologist determines no fish (resident or anadromous) are present.
