Document Description
The project consists of 4 encroachments: One encroachment is for water diversion from an unnamed tributary to Anderson Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use and non-cannabis irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. Possible removal and/or modifications may be necessary to meet water diversion and diversion infrastructure protective measures, especially bypass and maintaining water in the stream. The three other proposed encroachments are to upgrade failing and undersized culverts. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the failing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. The notification also discloses two wells to be used for cannabis cultivation (Table 2). Well 1 is an existing 220 ft deep well with an estimated yield of 10 gpm. Well 2 is an existing well of an unknown depth and an unknown estimated yield.
