Document Description
The project is limited to six (6) encroachments (Table 1 ). Three encroachments are for water diversion from wells that are hydraulically connected wells to the Eel River. Water is diverted for domestic use and irrigation. This Agreement authorizes water diversion from one well (POD-1), and the Permittee has agreed to not use the other wells. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The other proposed encroachments are to upgrade failing and undersized culverts. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the failing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill , and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. See NOD for Full Details.
