Structured Recreation, organized camps, and special facilities
Boy Scouts of America proposes an updated master plan for Camp Emerald Bay, operated since 1924, to include an increase in maximum occupancy from 375-950. The camp has operated at around 900 persons during peak months for several years while instituting water conservation measures resulting in a significant reduction of water use. They also propose upgrades over 20 years for camp housing, facilities, and improvements.
