- Document Description
- UC San Diego proposes to update the LRDP for the La Jolla campus, previously adopted by The Regents of the UC in September 2004. The 2018 LRDP Update will address anticipated growth in student enrollment and associated expansion of faculty, staff, academic and ancillary programs in the context of UCSD's Strategic Plan (2014). It is anticipated that UCSD could experience a population increase of approximately twenty-five to thirty percent by the year 2035. This increase would exceed the population assumptions in the 2004 LRDP and its program EIR. Accordingly, UCSD will update the LRDP and prepare a new program EIR to address the effects of this growth. The UC will serve as lead agency for this project.
