Document Description
The ROD presents the selected remedy for soil at Site SD011 at Beale Air Force Base (AFB or Base) in Yuba County, California.
The ROD is issued by the U.S. Air Force (Air Force), as the lead agency. The Air Force is managing the selected remedy at this site in accordance with CERCLA as required by the Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP). The Central Valley REgional Water Quality Control Board and California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) are regulatory oversight agencies representing the State of California. The Air Force evaluated and selected the final response for this site. The Central Valley Water Board and DTSC concur with the selected remedy as complying with CERCLA and California laws concerning removal and remedial actions. Groundwater underlying Site SD011 is not addressed in this ROD and will be addressed as part of Site CG041 (basewide groundwater.
