Document Description
The purpose of the proposed project is for Rosedale to provide the Westside Districts with up to 5,000 acre-feet of Rosedale's 2016 water supplies that are stored in the State Water Project's San Luis Reservoir. In exchange, the Westside Districts will deliver 2 acre-feet of water to Rosedale by July 1, 2017, for each acre foot delivered by Rosedate in 2016. The point of delivery for the water returned to Rosedale will be the Cross Valley Canal or any other mutually agreeable location, including a transfer of the Westside Distirct's previously banked supplies in the Pioneer or Kern Water Bank Projects in Kern County. THe return of water shall not require the WEstside Districts to recover water from the groundwater basin.
