Document Description
The Black Mountain lookout sits atop Black Mountain in eastern Fresno County at 3,400' elevation within the Foothill Woodland Plant community typical of the west side Sierra Nevada mountains. The lookout counsists of two 169ft 2 rooms, living quarters below and a cab on the top floor. This project proposes to renovate the rooms. Lookout cab will have the roof shingles, felt and sub roof replaced/repaired where necessary. Two wood-framed windowns in the living quarters and one wood framed window on the north side of the bathroom will be replaced, trimmed and painted.
