Document Description
In February 2016, the city Council approved a plan to accelerate completion of water meter installation by 2020 instead of 2025, accelerating project completion by five years. In summary, the Accelerated Water Meter Project would install approximately 40,000 water meters in residential backyards, alleys, and front yards, and commercial and multi-residential properties; approximately 76 miles of replacement water mains within roadway rights-of-way. Installation of the replacement water mains will occur throughout the City, mostly in residential neighborhoods and in commercial and multi-family properties.
