Document Description
The State of California, Department of Hospitals is proposing to remodel approximately 3,350 gross square feet of the north east wing of Building U-06 at Patton State hospital to include 10 Enhanced Treatment Units, patient rooms and related accessory spaces, including a nurses' station/police unit, a rehabilitation room, a medicine room, a conference room, patient room, two restraint rooms, clean linen, a treatment room and a staff unisex toilet. All the work is interior to the building and on the roof. The ETUs will serve to provide a more secure environment to address patients that become psychiatrically unstable.

While the building was constructed in 1956 there is no potential or historical campus features that would be affected by this project.
