The project sponsor, Bay West Development, is proposing a Master Plan for the redevelopment of the existing Alameda Marina. Overall, the proposed project would demolish most of the existing land-side structures and construct up to 779 residential units, up to 160,000 sf of commercial space, and approx 5 acres of public open space. Existing sea walls and bulkheads on the site would be improved through a combination of demolition, rehabilitation, modification, and/or retrofit activities.
