Document Description
The project purpose is to rehabilitate and widen the Churn Creek Bridge on Old Alturas Road to meet current federal design standards. Rehabilitation will include widening of the bridge deck, pier walls, and abutments, and will also include approach work. The new bridge deck will measure 67 feet wide and will include a 14-foot wide center turn lane and two 12-foot-wide lanes, each with an 8-foot-wide shoulder and a 6.5-foot-wide sidewalk with a barrier.
