Cal Fire will conduct prescribed burning activities in forest understories at Pepperwood Preserve. Pepperwood Preserve is a 3,117-acre mosaic of Douglas-fir forests, oak, woodland, mixed hardwood forests, chaparral, and open grasslands. The preserve supports over 750 native plant varieties and over 150 wildlife species.
