Document Description
The applicant requests that a modification to CUP 5001-1 to authorize the continued operation of an existing composting and soil amendment facility until March 23, 2019. Proposed facility modifications include a revised CUP area, an increase in the volume of compost feedstock that can be accumulated on the project site from 10,000 cy to 17,500 cy, installation of a solid waste dry anaerobic digestion system (i.e. SmartFerm provided by ZeroWaste Energy, LLC) and facility improvements (i.e. fire hydrants, three detention basins for stormwater management, and interior access roads).
