Document Description
The project is the development of a Climate Action Plan (CAP) that will include measures and actions to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from the unincorporated County in proportion to the State's emission reduction goals. The EIR will provide a program-level analysis of the CAP and its actions. It will also be prepared as a Supplement to the 2011 General Plan Update (GPU) Program EIR to evaluate proposed amendments to General Plan Goal COS-20 and Policy COS-20.1, and proposed adoption of new or revised mitigation measure(s) related to the CAP and GHG emission reduction targets (2011 GPU Program EIR Mitigation Measures CC-1.2, CC-1.7, and CC-1.8).
