Document Description
The applicant KZ DEVCO, LP is proposing the construction of a new Smart & Final Store on 3.1 acres of a 6 acre site which will be subdivided into two lots. The applicant is proposing to construct a grocery store that is 27,524 sf in size, as well as, installing parking and landscaping improvements requiring approval of a design review application. The city required the applicant to submit a CUP because this grocery store needs a type 21 alcohol beverage license. This application has not proposal for development on the remaining 2.9 acre parcel however; the environmental assessment for this area assumed future residential use.
