Document Description
Caltrans proposes to widen pavement to accommodate large vehicles on SR 4 near Bear Valley in Alpine County. The scope of work will include ground excavation and paving with Hot Mix Asphalt. The purpose of this project is to provide pavement for trucks to maneuver without encroaching onto the opposite lane and/or unpaved area. The need for the project is to ensure a safe travel way for large vehicles.
