Document Description
Fish and Wildlife has executed lake and streambed alteration agreement no. 1600-2016-0115-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code, to Department of Parks and Rec, represented by Victor Bjelajac.
The proposed project is a routine maintenance project to clear accumulated debris, sediment, and new-growth vegetation for 50 ft along the length of the bridge crossing over Gaviota Creek. The work will progress 20 ft upstream away from the bridge and 20 ft downstream away from the bridge. Project activities will include sediment, debris, and native and non-native vegetation removal on an as-needed basis which may be about once a year. Up to approximately 20 cy of sediment will be removed each work event.
