Document Description
Conduct geotechnical investigations on the perimeter of the Dechambeau Hotel in Bodie State Historic Park to identify soil conditions and guide repair and stabilization work. A hand-held mechanical auger with 6" auger bits will be used to drill up to three holes, five to twenty feet in depth to obtain soil samples for analysis. Excavated holes will be backfilled with soil cuttings and lean concrete and excess soil cuttings will be spread in adjacent undeveloped areas away from the waterways.
