Document Description
Replace roof and siding shingles in kind on the historic Needle Rock Visitor Center in Sinkyone Wilderness State Park to protect the structure and support its maintenance and continued use. Work will: remove and dispose of existing roofing and siding shingles and flashing; remove and replace any roof or siding sheathing showing signs of degradation; install new flashing at all plumbing and vent openings, roof perimeter and roof to wall locations; install felt underlayment atop roof and siding sheathing; and install fire-rated cedar wood shingles that match the size and shape of removed shingles.
