Document Description
Work to be conducted under this clearance will involve extension of the existing drain between erosion site 2 and 3, as well as vegetation removal. Vegetation removal will be conducted by the California Conservation Corps using weed eaters and hand tools. Vegetation will be cleared 100 ft west of erosion site 2 to 100 ft east of erosion site 3, as well as, 150 ft west of erosion site 4 to 150 ft east of erosion 5. Once the overlaying vegetation is cut back, DFD staff will take elevation measurements along the upper bench drain to establish the direction of storm water flows during rain events and determine if there is a need for future drainage improvements.
